I am currently an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthCare, Cigna, Aetna, TriWest, Medicare, Texas Medicaid and Multiplan. Can you do EMDR therapy online?
Yes, I have done EMDR therapy by video very successfully. Also, the EMDR flash technique which is even faster than standard EMDR therapy can be done online. In some cases an issue can be treated in as little as one session using the EMDR flash technique.
Do I have to relive those awful memories to do EMDR therapy?
No, not necessarily. In standard EMDR you do recall the events briefly, but if the memories are too painful to remember, there is a treatment called EMDR flash technique that works on a subconscious level. Your brain processes the disturbing memory while your are thinking of something fun or relaxing. Please contact me if this sounds like something you would like to try.

Do you offer sliding scale fees?
Due to licensing regulations I am not able to offer counseling for people living in other states. However, I may be able to provide counseling for ex-patriots depending on the laws of their current country of residence. Do you offer counseling for people outside of Texas?
